You must have heard and read doctors, nutritionists, fitness experts and other health experts giving huge lectures on healthy living. I have grown up listening to the same stuff but when I started my search on how to achieve healthy living then not a single person was able to satisfy me. This created an urge in me to know how I can stay healthy naturally without taking any supplements or taking any medical treatments. Finally I got answers to all my questions and now I am here to share them with you.
Every one of us looks for a medical insurance certificate but none of us do any serious effort to keep away from diseases. This is strange but true. What I am trying to say is that you should try to avoid diseases instead of going for different means to save money on getting medical treatments. There are little things you want to adopt in your life to enjoy every single minute.
How to Stay Healthy?
Most of us are aware of the concept of healthy living but only a few of us are actually living a healthy life. We give least importance to our health until we get ill. This is a bitter reality which we have to face today.  Healthy living can be achieved by following a healthy lifestyle. If you are currently ill, overweighed or you feel tired and are suffering from depression then you need to takeout some time for yourself. Here is where I can help you. So are you ready to change your lifestyle? Do you want to enjoy life fully? Do you want to remain away from Doctors? If yes, then just follow my tips. Following are some tips and suggestions based on my personal experience and in depth research, by following which you can not only become healthy but also maintain your physical and mental health in the long run.
Monitor Your Eating Habits

The first thing you need is to monitor you eating habits so that you can know what type of food and in how much quantity are you taking every day. Use calorie counter to get an idea about your current calorie consumption. Most of us eat food without counting the total amount of calories present in that food. This leads to an increase in body weight. Most of people do not know their calorie requirement. Our body needs a specific amount of calorie everyday to carry put routine activities. This amount changes with age and is different for men and women, men usually need more calories. You have to check your calorie requirement according to your age and gender.
Now, when you have come to know about your daily calorie requirement then it is the time to make your meal plan according to your calorie intake. Design a meal plan that contains all essential nutrients including proteins, minerals, carbohydrates, vitamins etc. It is highly suggested to add balanced amount of vegetables, fruits and meat in your diet plan. Majority of us take three large meals a day but still feel hungry in between so it is better to take up to six small meals after regular intervals. You will see a clear improvement in your health once you have started eating balanced diet in right proportion.
Drink Plenty of Water

The next and the most important thing is water. You have to drink plenty of water as it is a natural tonic which clears out all the toxic chemicals from our body. Although, there are a large number of drinks but no one can take its place. There is no limit on the intake of water; you can drink it as much as you can. Tap water is better than cold water so better using tap water. Here, I must share a fact with you. According to majority of studies, most of the soda drinks available in the market affects our health badly. These soft drinks have zero nutritious value and they increases weight up to a great extent so it is better to take fresh juices made from your favorite fruits. Taking fluid especially water keeps your body cool and makes your skin younger and healthy. It also helps in digestion and constipation. It also relieves fatigue and keeps you fresh.
Concentrate on Your Workouts
You can never stay healthy in the long run without performing exercise on regular basis. I know you cannot strict to the same routine for a long time, so am I but this is not a solid reason to avoid workouts. Health is wealth; everything else comes after it so never compromise your health for anything. You may start with simple and easy workouts such as brisk walking, running, cycling, swimming, dancing e.t.c and move towards tough exercises slowly. It is usually suggested to perform workouts for a minimum of 30 minutes every day and if you have weight issues then increase time. You must be thinking that why I am giving too much concentration on workouts, it is due to the extraordinary benefits offered by exercise. Following is the brief overview of them.
